My week-end in London

Last week-end I was in London with my girlfriend for 3 days. It was her first time in England. For me, it was my second trip but my first time by Eurostar. In 2 hours and 30 minutes from the Gare du Nord, you are in the heart of the city centre.
We started our visit by Big Ben, Westminter Abbey and Buckingham Palace. The Queen was here ! We went through St. James Park. It was beautiful and so charming. Thre was a lot of grey squirrels, ducks and gooses. Very country-style in the heart of a big capital.
After that, we made some shopping in Piccadilly street, Regent street, Carnaby street and Oxford street. This city is so expensive !!!
On Saturday morning, we went to the Portobello market in Notting Hill. It's a beautiful part of the city with blue, green or pink houses. The market was crowded with a lot of tourists (like us) but also with a lot of Londoners.
In the afternoon, we took a ride on the London Eye (the big wheel). After having wait 1 hour in the cold, we had a very nice view of the city. In the evening, we went to a real english pub ! A rugby match on TV, a pint of beer (or two...) and a fish & chips: so english !
The last day we went to the Camden market. It's not the same spirit compared to the Portobello market. More nuts, unlikely. An interesting part of the city.
For finishing, we went to Chinatown. It's the oldest chinese district of Europe. We ate a very good chinese lunch.
PS: we had a lot of sun on Saturday and a lot of rain on Sunday, of course !

My week-end in Amsterdam

This week-end I was in Amsterdam (Netherlands) with some friends fom IFIPS.; It was my first time. It's a beautiful city with a lot of canals and it improves the charm of the city. Buildings are beautiful and there are a lot of pedestrian streets. But streets are very dangerous because there are too much... bicycles !!!! It's unbelievable. The "Velib" in Paris is nothing as compared with Amsterdam. But I think that is a good thing for the environment.
We went to the Heineken brewery in order to live the "Heineken Experience". It's the local beer. It was a good experience and for 10€ you have 2 beers! Nice!
How can I speak about this city if I don't tal about the red district. Very weird at the beginning. I can't imagine that kind of district in Paris. A lot of people would be offend.
At last, Amsterdam is a beautiful city but a little bit weird. It's closed to Paris by the distance (500 km) and so far by the habitants' mentality.

My week-end in Aix-en-Provence

I was in Aix-en-Provence Saturday and Sunday. A friend of mine moved to this place on September. He had just found a job in EUROCOPTER. So we came with some friends in order to have a big house-warming !!!
Aix-en-Provence is a lovely city with a lot of pedestrian streets, café, little shops, plane trees along streets... GORGEOUS !!! Little detail : the weather was hot and sunny !!! On Sunday I was at the pavement of a café, wearing sunglasses and a t-shirt with my RICARD on the frontsea... My dream comes true.
This week-end was too short. I hope that the next time I'll visit Marseille and Cassis, it seems to be one of the most beautiful city in the area.

YELLE !!!!!!!

DISCO BIIIIIAAAATCH

I post this video because I love this kind of music!!! It's so refreshing !!! I think that "DISCO BITCH" is a great artist with a real message. She's a communist who wants a new French Revolution. Power to the people !!!
Maybe it's Arlette Laguiller which is disguise in order to be INCOGNITO !!!!

My Future

Five things I'd like to have accomplished in the next five years and why

1) Learn how to dance Salsa

I've already taken few lessons in a club in Paris. It was pretty funny and I had a lot of fun !!! But there was too much people , it was not very individualized. I think I will improve my level fastier if lessons will be with few people.

2) Visit Japan and South Korea

This summer I went to Australia for 3 weeks. It was an amazing trip. During this visit, I met some Japaneses and Koreans. They were very cool and have invited me to ours countries. I'm keen on asian culture and mangas, it 'll be a dream !!!!

3) Find a great job

In July I'll be graduated and I'll need money !!! So I have to find a job and if it's possible well-payed !!! I want to stay around Paris (or inside Paris) and work in industrial data processing or in secure networks.

4) Move to a largest accomodation

I'm living in a 20 m² in Massy (91) for xxx € per month !!!! It's too expensive !!! I want to find a largest place because it's very oppressive. I'll look for a new accomodation when I'll find my new job.

5) Take up again guitar lessons

I have a guitar but I don't know how to play !!! It's very frustrating !!! It takes a lot of time. You have lessons but also training !!! It's the most important thing and it takes a lot of time. Maybe I'll be the new Stevie Ray Vaughan !!!
